Payment

ShopCarole.com accepts payment through PayPal and all credit cards accepted by PayPal.

Shipping & Handling

Standard delivery

Orders in the amount of $50 and more to be shipped to an address in the USA receive free standard shipping with no handling charges. UPS is our carrier of choice but alternatively USPS may be used for delivery.

If the customer wants an order to be shipped ‘UPS 3 Day Select’, ‘UPS 2nd Day Air’ or any other expedited shipping method he/she will be charged for these actual shipping costs.

The shipment address must contain a street address. We do not ship to a P. O. box address.

All orders placed before 10:00 AM (Pacific Time), will be shipped on the same day.  Orders placed after 10:00 AM (Pacific Time), will be shipped on the following business day.
Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped on the next business day. Every in-stock order should be delivered within seven to ten days.

Rush delivery

We are happy to accommodate a rush shipment. Please contact us after placing the order to make an arrangement. We will do our best to get your merchandise to you as quickly as possible.

Sales Tax

Customers with a shipping address in California will be charged sales tax as determined by California law.

International Orders

All international orders are shipped through UPS. At the moment, only customers in Canada and Mexico are served. The shipment charges are for UPS standard international shipping for the country selected during checkout.

If shipping using another carrier is preferred, please contact us after placing the order.

We will accurately list items and values on custom forms. We will not label packages as “gifts” or misrepresent any facts.

Customers are responsible for local duties and taxes, which are assessed once the package arrives in their country. We cannot estimate any of these additional charges.

Please note that packages can often be delayed while clearing customs. Contact your local customs office for more information.

Returns and exchanges

At ShopCarole.com, we want you to shop in confidence knowing that your purchase is Always 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. If, for any reason, you choose to return your selection, we will refund the price of the merchandise, help you with an exchange or credit your account.

For returns and exchanges, only unworn items in the condition in which they were received will be accepted. When available we are glad to exchange items for another size or style.

We will accept returns within 14 days of shipment of your package. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with all tags attached. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of the item once we receive it. ShopCarole.com reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if merchandise received is not in its original condition or outside the 14 day policy. Please include a copy of your packing slip. Refunds will be issued to the card used to make the purchase.

Sale merchandise is not returnable.

Holiday Gifts are returnable for a refund through January 5th (postmark). After this date, return requests for holiday gifts are no longer accepted.

All garments must have the original hang tags attached. Please include the packing slip (original or copy) with the returned merchandise.

Items will be refunded at the purchase price of the merchandise in the original method of payment. We will not make retroactive adjustments to merchandise purchased prior to a sale.

Shipping costs will not be refunded. If ‘Free shipping’ was offered with the purchase an appropriate amount for shipping may be deducted from the refunded amount, with a maximum of the total shipping cost.

The fastest way to make an exchange is to purchase online the new item(s) wanted.  We will credit you for the returned items of the original purchase upon arrival to our returns department.

You can mail your return to us via the carrier of your choice: USPS, Fed Ex, UPS etc. The return shipping costs are at your expense.

Gift Certificates

A gift certificate can be issued in any name. It can be ordered using the ‘Contact us’ page or the specific online pop-up window. It expires after six months from the date issued and can not be extended. It must be paid in full before it is issued and becomes valid.

A gift certificate can only be used to buy merchandise. It will not be cashed by ShopCarole.com, neither in full nor partly.

When the merchandise value bought using a gift certificate exceeds the gift certificate value the balance has to be paid using one of the payment methods accepted by ShopCarole.com.

When the merchandise value bought using a gift certificate is less than the gift certificate value the balance will be credited towards the gift certificate again.

Merchandise bought using a gift certificate can be returned or exchanged following the return/exchange policy of ShopCarole.com. Sale merchandise bought with a gift certificate can not be returned or exchanged. For returned merchandise a new gift certificate will be issued, valid until the original gift certificate the merchandise was bought with will expire.

Privacy Statement

We neither sell nor share any customer information with outside companies or third parties.

When purchasing from ShopCarole.com, we collect the customer’s name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to process and ship the orders. We respect our customer’s privacy by not selling or sharing any of this information.  Should you choose to pay by credit card, this information is not stored in our system, but is only forwarded to PayPal during the payment process, using a secured connection.

Mailing list

We encourage customers to sign-up for our mailing list on the home page of Carole Tomkins Collections, ShopCarole.com or directly here . Periodically we send out newsletters with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise and other store related events. Customers are free to add or remove their names from our list at any time.
